She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Tom" Beaver and Nora Belle Pickelsimer Beaver; her son Tommie Phillips; her siblings, Jeanette Ledford, Margaret Stover, Louise Clayton, Lucille Mulkey, Willie Thompson, James Beaver, Jerry Beaver, Jimmy Ray Beaver and Frank Voyles; and her brother-in-law William Salmons.
She is survived by: her husband James Richard "Dick" Shook of Tunnel Hill, GA; her sons, James Charles (Yulma Phillips), Michael Scott Phillips of Tunnel Hill, GA and Gerald Ray Shook of Ringgold, GA; her sister Marie Salmons of Dalton, GA; her sister-in-law Juanita Beaver of Dalton, GA; her grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Manis, Michelle Phillips, Eric Phillips, Destiny Phillips, Robert Shook, Nick Shook and Linda Cervantes; and her great grandchildren, Carson Manis, Colton Phillips and Abriel Phillips. She is also survived by several other great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ponders Melrose Chapel. A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
