He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Horne and Bertha Arnold Horne; his parents-in-law, Jim and Millie Ward Clark; his siblings, Joe (Laura Horne), J. C. (Faye Horne), Clifford (Verna Horne), Mattie (Ralph Humphries), Frances (E. G. Haygood) and Laverne Templeton; and his siblings-in-law, Sonny, Nancy Clark, W. H. Clark (Dub), Ray Clark, Doris (Dot), Robert Motley, Lois and Frank Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Horne; his children, Monty Horne of Tunnel Hill and Rhonda; his son-in-law Michael Shahan of Rocky Face; his brother-in-law Fred Templeton of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Zac Shahan, Maci Gaddis (Aaron) and Matt Horne (Savanna); his great grandchildren, Zeklan Shahan and James Gaddis; and his siblings-in-law, Juanita, Elroy Motley, Terri, Robin Cooper, Barbara Clark and Linda Clark.
