He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Edgeman; and his parents, Clifford Edgeman and Pauline Davis Cummings. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Edgeman of Ringgold and Eugene Edgeman of Tunnel Hill; his brothers, Jackie Cummings (Kim) of Tunnel Hill, Marvin Edgeman (Carolyn) of Lafayette and Edward Edgeman of Maple Grove, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Hunter Edgeman of Ringgold and Kadi Edgeman (Shelby) of Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
