He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Levy Gaston and Beatrice Marie Keys Gaston; and his sister Barbara Ann Kent. He is survived by: his friend Karen McDermott; his children, Jan Vickery of South Carolina, Jim Gaston of Arizona and Randy Gaston of California; and his sister Kathy Novell of Florida.
