With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie Dean Leffew Hughes of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, born in Dayton, Tennessee, who passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Leffew and Caroline Cox Leffew; her former husband Thomas Alford; and her siblings, Mildred Leffew, Robbie Jones, Edgar Leffew and Archie Leffew.
She is survived by: her husband Edmond Hughes; her siblings, Herlie Leffew, Dixie Morris, Cora Bennett, Barbara Telford, Evelyn Spurgin, Shirley Hart, Sandra Barker, Kate Owens and Sherry Mills; and her nieces, Trina Alford Dobbins and Diane Edwards. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and numerous extended family & friends.
The family has requested that no flowers be sent and that you make donations to a charity of your choice.
