He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Jewel Lucas; his wife Jan Sanders; his siblings, Marjorie Sanders, Kay Sanders, Jill, Dale Smitherman, Big and John Eddie Lucas (Red Bone); his children, Shaunna Henry, JT Sanders and Michelle Johann; his nephew Michael Seay; and his close friend Victor Allen. He was also cherished by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a great-grandson.
