He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl White Abercrombie; his stepfather Gober Abercrombie; his brother Richard Voyles; and his grandson Matthew McKee. He is survived by: his wife Betty Voyles; his children, Trish McKee (Randy), James Voyles Jr. (Jennifer) and Brandon Voyles (Michelle); his siblings, Clyde Voyles (Lona), Rosalee Northrop, Phyllis Shields (Gene) and Harry Abercrombie (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Coda, Brenna, Teagan and Brogan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
