He is survived by: his wife Michele Short; his sons, Alexander Collins Easterly and Justin Michael Short; his siblings, Gerald Allen Short, Deborah Short and Shelly D. Hall; his mother Rena Kay Short; and his grandchildren, Claira, Cline and Narheya. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
