She was predeceased by: her parents, Odice Raper and Emma Brooks Raper; her husband Troy Lee Nix Sr.; and her siblings, Bobby Raper, Tuffy Raper and Sue Bruce.

She is survived by: her sons, Odice (Kristen Nix) and Troy Lee, Jr. (Jessica Nix); her siblings, Joyce Creath of Griffin, GA and Johnny Raper of Dawsonville, GA; and her grandsons, Marcus, James Nix and Andrew Nix.
