He was predeceased by: his parents, C. H. Smith (Ace) and Emma Lee Smith (Emily); and his wife Marie Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Chris (Mindy Smith) and Chad (Britney Smith); his sister Clydine; his brother-in-law Travis Tyson; his sisters, Joyce (James Wilson), Susan Hill and Sue Hill; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Gracie and Sydney Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
