He is survived by: his wife Meghan Hammontree; his father Chris Hammontree; his stepmother Lindy Hammontree of Dalton; his mother Emilie; his stepfather Scottie of Dalton; his siblings, Elizabeth Schmitt (Justin Gentry) of Dalton, Austin Schmitt (Lauren) of Dalton, Jeff Schmitt (Megan Gray) of Dalton and Jaime Schmitt (Kim) of Savannah; his brother-in-law John Hill (Rebecca) of Chatsworth; his stepbrothers, Jacob Shell and Jeremiah Shell; his uncle Matthew; his aunts, Christy Kinsey of Rocky Face and Betty Dailey of Dalton; and his cousins, Alexis, Zoe, Angie, Ethan Dailey, Connie Smith and Jackie Hammontree. He is also survived by other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
