He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Herman; and his sister Debbie Smith. He is survived by: his mother Lula "Russell" Herman of Spencer, TN; his wife Brenda Herman of Tunnel Hill; his daughters, Melissa Herman, Candice Potts of Dalton and Crystal Stanley (Charles) of Tunnel Hill; his sisters, Faye Simmons (John) of Spencer, TN and Juanita Worthington of Ringgold; and his grandchildren, Brandon Ward, Madison Stanley, Jessie Ward, Carson Stanley and Gavin Stanley. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
