He was predeceased by: his wife Rhonda Whitfield; his parents, Byron Whitfield and Pauline Whitfield; and his brother-in-law Jim Lynch. He is survived by: his son Boone Whitfield of Tunnel Hill; his brother David Whitfield; and his siblings-in-law, Steve, Vicki Moore of Calhoun and Susan Lynch of Dalton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
