He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hedden Wingate; his children, Nicole Dempsey of Tunnel Hill, Jessica Wingate of Tunnel Hill, Casey Mingle of Cohutta, Matthew Wingate, Jaidan Hight and Jacob Hight; his siblings, Beth Wingate Black of Hallsville, TX, Debbie, Jackie Bickers of Dallas, GA, Bob (Leigh Wingate) and Ray (Cate McConnell); his grandchildren, Marley Mingle, Ren Dempsey and Hopi Westbrook; and his niece Jennifer Wingate.
