Nelda Newman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelda Newman (Tucker, Georgia), born in Dexter, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Nelda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nelda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Newman of Snellville; her siblings, Mary Kay Smith of Rentz, Jocelyn Alford of Montrose and Dalton Watson of Rentz; and her parents, Robert Melton and Dessie Watson of Rentz.

She is survived by: her children, David Newman (Carrie) of Snellville and Valerie Newman of Loganville; her grandchildren, Savannah Newman, Dawson Newman and Chloe Newman of Snellville; and her sister Katrina Lord of Dublin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
