She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph Thompson and Sally Griffin Thompson; her husband Thomas V. Sorrells; her sons, Doug and Don Sorrells; and her siblings, L. S. Thompson, Ben Thompson, Oris Thompson, Dewitt Thompson, Foy Thompson, Carolyn Moulder and Frances Anthony.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Clark of Cumming and Dawn Sorrells of Cleveland; and her sister-in-law Betty Thompson of Peachtree Corners. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild and Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory - Lilburn/Tucker Chapel (6101 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
