He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Prater and Mary Prater; his wife Debbie Prater of Tucker, Georgia; and his stepson Jeremy Prater (Sara Gutschmidt).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory - Lilburn/Tucker Chapel (6101 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association in memory of James Prater.
