It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Kapetanakos of Tucker, Georgia, born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Christopher and Virginia Moujourithis Kapetanakos; his son Terry C. Kapetanakos; and his sister Mary K. White. He is survived by: his fiancée Barbara Chambers Johnson of Tucker, GA; his child Charlie Kapetanakos (Sherri) of Tampa, FL; his stepdaughter Candice Lichtenwalner (Joe) of Cumming, GA; his stepgrandsons, Daniel and Nathan; his brother Christopher Kapetanakos (Hope) of Greenville, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Virginia White, Krissy White, Jimmy Kapetanakos (Kimberly) and Peter Kapetanakos (Kimberly).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Charles may be donated to AHEPA District 1 Fellowship Foundation in the name of Terry C. Kapetanakos (Charles's late son), AHEPA Family District Educational Fund, Inc., c/o Ted Kipreos, Chairman, 925 Brook Knoll Lane, Cumming, GA 30041.
