Yates Carolyn V. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yates Carolyn V. of Trion, Georgia, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Clanton and Christine Clanton; her husband George; and her granddaughter Jessica Yates. She is survived by: her sister Barbara Whittle (Lydell); her children, Wallace, Shirl Yates, Lisa, Fred Harris, Anthony and Jackie Yates; her grandchildren, Stephen Harris, George, Carrie Yates, Kayleigh Yates, Heather and Thad King; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Cole, Carter, Liam, Baylor Yates and Cydney King; and her close friend Ann Lanier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Carolyn requested that memorial donations be sent to Trion First Baptist Church, 95 Church St, Trion, GA 30753.
