She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon William Chandler, Sr. and Grace Buckalew Chandler; her husband Johnny Doyle "J. D." Scoggins; her daughter Peggy Lavon Scoggins Richardson; and her siblings, G. W. Chandler, Jr., Flavis Chandler, Daughtery Chandler, Violet Chandler Parker, Arah Chandler Bruce, Johnny Chandler, Dearwood Chandler and Carolyn Chandler.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Robin R. Wooten (Dave) and Van Alan Richardson; her great grandchildren, Briana Chandler Moore (Michael), Jennifer Kellogg (Mark) and Edward Wooten; and her great great grandchildren, Matthew, Lilly Grace Kellogg, Coby, Amanda Moore and Ela Wooten. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
