He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Blackmon and Helen Dot Pierce Blackmon; and his brother Jerry "Curly" Blackmon. He is survived by: his siblings, Tony Blackmon and Elizabeth "Libby" Frazier; and his nieces and nephews, Kaci Ngov (Leng), Mandie Hunseder, Chris Blackmon and Greg Blackmon.
