Melinda Floyd Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Melinda Floyd of Trion, Georgia, born in Summerville, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gibson Maynard and Jewel Minnie Deering Maynard; and her siblings, Leta, Glenn Maynard, Buster Maynard and Austin Maynard.
She is survived by: her husband Marty Floyd; her daughter Brittany Slayton (Kisha); her stepson Shannon Floyd (Jessica); and her sisters, Nadine Espy, Debbie Cooper, Alice Ballinger, Brenda Hughes and Sandra Corbin. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Floyd family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home reminds anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
