He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. "Jake" Langston and Bessie Lee Gilreath Langston; his wife Sue Gentry Langston; his son Marty Langston; and his siblings, Jim Langston, Andy Langston, Jeep Langston, Charles Langston, Larry Langston, David Langston, Ralph Langston, Tubby Langston, Steve Langston, Ruth Langston, Ruby Eller, Joyce Langston, Sybil Shields and Jenny Rebecca Langston.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Kirby (Nick), Lori Bearden (Greg), Tim Langston (Lori) and Joe Langston (Rena); his grandchildren, Dalton Bearden (Tiffany), Jaxton Langston, Skylar Gammon, Marty Lichty, Gregory Bearden, Shawn Bortner (Angie), Eric Caudill (Grace), Tara Smith, Lisa Martin (Michael), Renee Miller (Dean), Georgia Langston, Telisha Langston, Melanie Bearden, Traci Rogers and Deborah Childers (Jason); his great grandchildren, Brantley and Prentice Bearden; and his sister Nell Langston Thomas. He is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
