She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Slawson and Scott Gilbert; and her brother Scotty "Scooter" Slawson. She is survived by: the father of her children Jeff Smith; her children, Adam Smith, Jr., Julian Smith, Audrey Smith, Samantha Smith and Akira Smith; her husband Daniel Franks; and her siblings, Daniel Gilbert, Jennifer Gilbert and Juanita Collins. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
