She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Herbert Kirk and Kelly Aline Bowers Kirk; her daughter Carla Odell Garner; and her brothers, Herbert Lee Kirk and William Franklin Kirk.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Pope; and her daughters, Tina (Bruce Hale), Debbie (Joel Runyon) and Lynn (Reb Blanchard). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Spring Creek Baptist Church (2629 Spring Creek Rd, Trion, GA 30753).
