He is survived by: his wife Annie Smith Shaffer; his daughters, Maria Dayna Lee and Sandy Brewer (Sid); his stepdaughter Rita Hall; his siblings, Linda Nichols, Leroy Shaffer and Danny Shaffer; his grandchildren, Stephanie Powell, LeAnn Gardner, Brandon Gardner (Janna), Jason Wells, Kayla Padgett, Michelle Padgett, Trinity Jenkins, Chelsea Ford and Emma Hamby; his great grandchildren, Lily Powell and Adonis Gardner; and his nephew Dillion Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Menlo First Baptist Church (3137 GA-337, Menlo, GA 30731). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
