She was predeceased by: her parents, R. W. "Shorty" and Mildred Lane Wilkerson; and her sister Judith Ann Childers. She is survived by: her husband Paul Lamar Purcell; her sons, Paul "LaDon" Purcell (Patti) of Smyrna and Robert Allan "Bobby" Purcell of Trion; her grandchildren, Emily Sara Purcell and William Lane Purcell of Smyrna; and her sister Mary Fuller (Jerry) of Rome. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
