Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charles Arvel McLeod Sr. of Trion, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 85, on July 22, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Arvel McLeod and Shirley Henderson McLeod; and his son John Andrew McLeod (Cheryl). He is survived by: his brother-in-law Billy Hayes; his wife Margaret; his children, Cynthia Anne McLeod (Don Highfield), Charles Arvel McLeod, Jr. (Lisa) and Keith Arlin McLeod; his grandchildren, Andrea McLeod, Lauren McLeod, Nicholas Van Pelt and Kathleen Van Pelt Gibson; and his great grandchildren, Kaedance, Ameri, Andrew Van Pelt, Kai McLeod and Emmaline Gibson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, friends donate to the scholarship fund of the Trion Bulldog Alumni Association at PO Box 295, Trion, GA 30753.
