Atlas Hudgins Obituary

Mr. Atlas Hudgins, age 57, of Trion, GA, died Friday, November 17, 2017, at Floyd Medical Center. Mr. Hudgins was born November 23, 1959, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Allen and Sarah Mae Phelps Hudgins. Prior to his retirement, he worked in the construction industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Louie Hudgins; sisters, Janice Hudgins, Elaine Hudgins, and Darnelle Prater.

Mr. Hudgins is survived by his wife of 19 years, Barbara Ann Bryant Hudgins; son , Joshua Allen Bates, stepsons Michael Isham, Kevin Isham; stepdaughter, Michelle Rogers; brother, Gene Hudgins; sisters, Sue Baker and Lillie Snead; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Hudgins was cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
