He was predeceased by: his father James Veal. He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Veal (Jason Craven) and Julie Stults (Colby); his grandsons, Colby Stults II and Deacon Stults; the mother of his children Julie Watson; his mother Bernice Veal; and his sisters, Connie Smitherman (Dean) and Robin Nordquist (Kim).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation toward funeral expenses.
