He was predeceased by: his son Shannon Whited; his parents, Luther Whited and Pearl Whited; and his siblings, James Ted Whited, Charles Whited, Clifford Whited, Donald Whited, John Whited, Polly Whited, Thelma Taylor, Emma Lee Whited (Buddy) and Edna Whited.
He is survived by: his son Michael Whited of Wildwood, GA.; and his sisters, Gwen Ward of Trenton, GA and Sally Wilson of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
