She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephriam Shadrack and Ida Carroll Buchanan; and her siblings, Lester Buchanan of Chester Buchanan, E. S, Buchanan Jr., Ruth Schrader, Jewell Heiser and Ida Cooper.
She is survived by: her husband Talvis Fran Hilley; her children, Talvis Wayne Hilley (Doris Durham) and Angela Hilley (Ernest Younce); her sisters, Deloris Smyth and Virginia Joiner; and her granddaughter Hannah Elizabeth Hilley (William McBee).
