He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Hicks; his granddaughter LaCosta Ann Evans; his parents, Mike Hicks and Edith Cuzzort Hicks; and his brothers, Roger, David, Doug and Lebron Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Hicks (Becky) of Bryant, AL and Charlotte Lankster (Eugene Henry Evans) of Bryant, AL; his grandchildren, Curtis Lankster, Justin Hicks and Samantha Gilbreath; his great grandchildren, Jaxyn, Josslyn Lankster, Dallas Hicks and Anniston Gilbreath; and his siblings, Rudy Hicks and Linda Dotson. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
