We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2021, Stella Mae Florence Cook Rainwater of Trenton, Georgia, born in Vinemont, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas and Mattie Vance Cook; her husband Dr. James Henry Rainwater; and her son James "Robert" Rainwater. She is survived by: her daughter Jeanette Cooper (George) of Trenton, GA; and her sister Hazel Marie Greathouse of Garden City, AL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
