He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Lettie Daniel Stephens; his sister Gertha L. Stephens; his mother-in-law Valeria Keel (Thrasher); his brothers-in-law, Bernard W. Keith, Carl E. Cross and Andy B. Newby, Jr.; and his nephew Cal Riddle.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley K. Stephens of Trenton, GA; his son Milton Stephens (Julie) of Lynnville, TN; his grandson Thomas Stephens (Melissa) of Lynnville, TN; his sisters, Bertha Cross of Trenton, GA, Betty Keith of Trenton, GA and Kathleen Newby of Trenton, GA; his siblings-in-law, Jean Wheeler (Doug) and Kenny Keel (Linda) of Trenton, GA; his grandchildren, Shane Keel (Anna) of Ringgold, GA, Cody, Tyler Keel and Kristen Wells; his nieces and nephews, Winfred Keith (Anita), Mike Keith (Darlene), Mark Cross, Connie Cross, April Riddle, Serena Keel and Fallon Keel; and also Phillip Keel (Myra). He is also survived by several cousins, great nieces & nephews, and a host of friends.
