He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hester and Ruth Sellers Summers (Mary Ruth Summers); and his sisters, Margaret Summers, Naomi Boshears and Elizabeth Shepard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Dobbs (Nick), Brenda Summers and Pam Goolesby (Steve); his grandchildren, Sara Dobbs, Casey Dobbs (Bethany), Jeremy Summers, Tiffany Summers, Samuel Summers, Naomi Summers, Chance Goolesby, Chase Goolesby and Abigail Goolesby; and his brother Elmer Summers.
