He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward Johnson and Mamie Neocia Brannon Johnson; his son Gary Johnson; and his sisters, Betty Jane Ross and Wanda Tallent.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Johnson; his children, Denise Croft (Lynn) and Larry Johnson (Tammy); his sister Charlotte Lynn; his grandchildren, Candace Abercrombie (Wes), Brandon Wooten (Rachel), Christian Johnson (Morgan), Cameron Johnson, Jacob Croft (Sydney), Jarrett Croft (Valerie) and Leah Bell; and his great grandchildren, Landon Abercrombie, Noah Abercrombie, Riley Kate Wooten, Kalan Wooten and Luke Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
