He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Marvin Matthews, II; and his grandparents, Marvin, Lydia Holloway Matthews, Howard, Lila Lewis, Jimmy and Cheryl Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Olds; his close friend Phyllis John; his mother Sharon Hurst; his stepfather Jimmy Hurst; his siblings, Chad Bryant and Maria Judson; and his children, Rebecca and Thomas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousin & friends.
