It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny Gamble of Trenton, Georgia, who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Penny is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Penny's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Earl Fowler Gore; and her husband Jerry Dewayne Gamble. She is survived by: her mother Mildred Massengale Gore; her sons, Kevin Pyburn and James Tatum; her siblings, Gayla Thomas (Gary W.) and Skip Gore; and her granddaughter Bailey Pyburn.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home - Trenton (11910 S Main St, Trenton, GA 30752). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Smith Cemetery (1322 Co Rd 81, Flat Rock, AL 35966).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Penny's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Alzheimer's Association, or the Tri-State Humane Society in Trenton, Georgia (https://www.paypal.com).
