She was predeceased by: her parents, H. H. Yates (Ruth Morris Tidwell) and Olivia Ann Yates; and her brother Franklin "Sonny" Tidwell. She is survived by: her husband Wayne "Rowdy" Yates; her son Frank Yates (Angie); her sister Claudette Tidwell Dobbins; her grandchildren, Orey (Brittany), Tristan (Maleiha), Stone (Lauren) and Cruz Yates; her great grandchildren, Owen and Annabeth Yates; and her nieces and nephews, Kenneth, Stanley Hill, Cynthia Wells and Stephanie Tidwell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, many beloved special Morris cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory (11415 S Main St, Trenton, GA 30752). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ryan Funeral Home (11415 S Main St, Trenton, GA 30752).
