He was predeceased by: his parents, Odus Jackson Nichols, Sr. (Nick) and Mattie Nichols. He is survived by: his brother Dr. L. W. "Buddy" Nichols; his significant other Marilyn Spears of St. Clair Shores, Michigan.; his daughters, Heather Kleiner (Mark) and April Wooten (Brian); his grandchildren, Alyviah Wooten, Marko Kleiner and Maria Kleiner; his sister Shirley; and his nieces and nephews, Caroline Rowell, Bethany Moore, Rob Nichols and Bryan Nichols.
