She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Barton and Auda West Barton; her husband Carl Gene Atchley; her daughter Tammy Lynn Whited; and her siblings, Legatha Morrow, Shirley Taylor, Yvonne Goff, Sabra Weathers, Junior Barton, Doley Barton and Noel Barton.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Meschino (Tony); her sister Wanda Langley; her grandchildren, Crystal Lynn Meschino and Billy Joe Atchley; and her great grandchildren, Emily Alsobrook, Willian Hudson and Chrisma Hudson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
She showed incredible strength throughout her battle with Alzheimer's disease.
