She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Frances Woodcock Futrell. She is survived by: her father John Douglas "J. D." Futrell; her husband Jim Nabors; her children, Alan Harper, Samantha Harper and John Harper; her stepdaughter Christy Gravitt; and her siblings, John Futrell Jr. and Mildred Lanier. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
