He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cagle and Eloise Cagle; and his stepfather Clifford Wesley Witlock. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Sams Cagle; his son Wesley Eugene Cagle (Jennifer); his half-sister Betty Stanfield; his grandchildren, Mickey Eugene Cagle and Tamra Arline Leford (Larry); and his great grandchild Oaklynn Sky Ledford.
