She was predeceased by: her husband Robert P. Steward. She is survived by: her sons, Matt and Nathan Steward; her sister Joan Fulghum Charles (Wayne); her nieces and nephews, Angela Jean Young, Mary E. Scott, Mary Ann Thomas, Paul L. Fulghum and Jason Kenner; and her close friend Brenda Reeves.
