Though James Willard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Willard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Springfield and Frances Springfield; his sister Helen Ann Clark; his granddaughter Ashley King; and his son Gregory James Hadden.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Springfield; his daughters, Sherry King (Steve) of Flat Rock, AL, Tina Williams of Wildwood, GA and Becky Metcalf (Bill) of Trenton, GA; and his granddaughters, Tiffany Hiett (Shane), Renae Taylor (Tommy Lee) and Jennifer Williams. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, two nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory (11415 S Main St, Trenton, GA 30752). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
