With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel Gooch of Trenton, Georgia, born in Manassas, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Hazel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Hazel farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Preston "Buster" Oliver Gooch Sr.; her parents, Thomas Ennis and Irene Ennis; and her children, Wanda Gillis and Preston Oliver Gooch Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Tomlinson (Bruce) and Cathy Basso (Peter); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Karen, Theresa, Michelle and Bruce Jr.. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
