It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Charmaine Shadowens (Trenton, Georgia), who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gloria Charmaine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe L. G. Shadowens. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Carlson (Herschel), Dawn Stowe (Andy) and Joe Shadowens (Chelsea). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces & nephews; numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (13056 N Main St, Trenton, GA 30752). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
