She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Shoemake of DeLand, FL; and her sister Dorothy Stevenson. She is survived by: her brother Al Steindorff of Yorktown Heights, NY; her children, Whelan Shoemake of Golden, CO and Merewyn (Jimmy) Buckles; and her stepdaughter Diana Shoemake of Rossville, GA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory (11415 S Main St, Trenton, GA 30752). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
