She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Cureton and Lucille Cureton; her brothers, Vernon Cureton and Billy Cureton; and her husbands, Richard McNabb and Harold Wilcox.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon McNabb Gorena of Wilmington, NC; and her granddaughters, Cristi Schomp and Alexis Hitt.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your local Humane Society.
